Ovation Theatre(501c3) was created in 2015 by professional singers,  teachers, and directors, Pamela Laurent and Scott Gregory (see bios below). O.T. grew out of their very successful North County School of the Arts theatre arts program.  After 8 years, and 16 productions, the next logical step was to create a non-profit theater that would enable the community to experience and grow youth and community theater in San Diego's North County.

Performers of all levels and aspirations are welcome.  The spectrum of our performers ranges from beginners, gaining their first performing arts experience,  to experienced performers who want to sharpen their theater arts technique and prepare themselves for the professional world of theatre.  We warmly welcome all levels of performers.

Our commitment to having on staff only working professionals / performers helps our instructors better relate to, teach and motivate our students.  We want our students to use their instructors as a resource for real-world performing situations.
